Wir sind stolz uns auf der documenta fifteen in Kassel präsentieren zu dürfen. Gemeinsam mit der documenta haben wir eine nachhaltige, soziale und regionale Bauchtasche entwickelt. Aus gespendeten alten Blue Jeans werden in liebevoller Handarbeit von Menschen mit Behinderung coole Unikate genäht. Die 1.000 limitierten Taschen sind exklusiv ab dem 18. Juni in den Shops der documenta fifteen erhältlich.

Wer sind wir?

Die bdks ist ein kirchlich-diakonischer Werteverbund mit unterschiedlichen Rechtsträgern in den Bereichen Behinderten- und Suchthilfe mit eigenen Einrichtungen und verschiedenen Beteiligungen. Die Zentralverwaltung hat ihren Sitz in Baunatal, weitere Standorte gibt es in der Stadt und im Landkreis Kassel sowie im Schwalm-Eder-Kreis.

We are proud to present ourselves at the documenta fifteen in Kassel. Together with the documenta we have developed a sustainable, social and regional fanny pack. Donated old blue jeans are lovingly handcrafted into cool one-off pieces by people with disabilities. The 1,000 limited bags will be available exclusively from June 18 in the documenta fifteen shops.

The bdks is a church-diaconal value network with different legal entities in the areas of disability and addiction support with their own facilities and various participations. The central administration is located in Baunatal, there are other locations in the city and in the district of Kassel as well as in the Schwalm-Eder-Kreis.
